Terere Kids Project was founded in 2000 by Fernando Terere, the first athlete from Rio's favelas to make a name for himself in Jiu Jitsu.

Today Terere Kids Projects provides free jiu jitsu class to kids from the Cantagalo Favela in Ipanema.

Donations contributions support our jiu-jitsu and English programs as well as cover the cost of competition registration and stipends for volunteer instructors.
